Does anybody know where I can find a model car of a Honda Element online?

Asked by mathwhiz1 (264points) March 5th, 2010

I’m an Element junkie. My family owns an Element and I absolutely enjoy riding in it every time I get the chance to, but I’m also looking for a model/toy version of this car that I can set on my desk. Is there such a thing out there?

I just really want to ask this because it is really bugging me: Why are you such a fanatic about that car? There’s nothing especially prominent about it, other than its boxy design being the first of many, so I wouldn’t understand being so excited about that particular car. See This? That’s a Fiat 500. We’ll be getting those by the end of 2010 in the States. They are very fuel efficient, beautifully crafted, very high-quality, sporty (especially in Abarth form), and a generally perfect car that starts even cheaper than the Element, I believe. What is it about that Element that so perfectly tickles your fantasy?

I’m sorry for the rant, I’m just a serious car person.

@Fred931 Everybody has there taste in cars. I absolutely love 1981 Jeep Cherokees and Old Ford Rancheros. Most people have no clue why I like them but it’s all about the body styling. I’m guessing @mathwhiz1 has a taste for clean lines and a defined shape. I like the Element mainly because of the body styling, and the car it’s self is pretty cool. It all comes down to your own opinion. You have to accept the fact that not everyone has the same taste in cars as you do

@Fred931 I just like the boxy shape, that’s all. There is something about the Element that grows on me. I think it’s because I have ridden in minivans the majority of my life.
@Jeremycw1 That’s my taste exactly.

@mathwhiz1 Sorry if I came across too hard. I can completely understand any kind of taste for any car. For example, I’m one of the few that actually thinks that the new Panamera is good-looking. I can see where @Jeremycw1 is going with his mentioned models and their muscley and off-road appeals. I enjoy the crispness of the Element as well, but what caught my attention was that you enjoyed that particular car over other boxes, such as the Scion xB or Kia Soul , both of which, according to Consumer Reports, are better. The Element not only scored lower than these two this year, but was also very near the bottom of the charts among the small SUV category it is a part of. What I originally didn’t consider, before typing the last post and this one as well, was that you almost definitely wouldn’t know any of this information because you haven’t dedicated as much of your life to automobiles as I have.

@Fred931 That’s okay. Don’t worry about it.
