If you were in this hypothetical scenario, would you rather make out with your mum or kill a friend? What is your reasoning?

This was brought up by a certain Jelly who shall remain nameless as we watched Back to the Future.
Marty goes back in time and in order to correct the mistakes he made and guarantee his existence he creates an elaborate scheme to help his future father get with his future mother. The scheme involves Marty making out with his own mother so his father can save her and be the hero. But, could he not also have just killed Doc Brown, therefore guaranteeing the time machine never be built?
So the question is, make out with your mom or kill a friend to save yourself? What is the reasoning behind your choice? Was it a hard decision to make?

Make out with Momma.I was never breast fed, I figure i’d be making up for that in some small way.
I’d drive the cool car to California and go surfing!
I would prefer to do anything over killing someone. And my mom was a fox when she was young.
I’m with @stump on this one. Making out with your mom would have far less ramifications in your future than killing someone.
Well, Eric sort of has it coming already. Sorry buddy.
What a freak, who is it?
I’d kill the friend just to be lazy. Actually come to think of it. Even if I kill him he’d still be born, only now his destiny is to invent timetravel and be killed by me in 1955. So I guess I’d make out with the mom, she was pretty hot anyway (for 1955 standards) :p
I would let my Mom drive the bus and save my friend.
(Gotta love dat Fluther!)
yeah well my mom was born in 1956… so I guess I’m SOL. Does that mean i’d have to make out with my grandmother? If the pics are accurate she was quite a looker in the 50’s.
this question made my head hurt
@janbb does she drive stick? oh snap!
Kill the friend.They are a dime a dozen ;)
If I went back in time, wouldn’t I have already went back in time in the present time. That means I would have already done it, so I wouldn’t need to go back in time to change anything because I would have already chaged it and thus, makingid rsvlk;...............~brain explodes~
@erichw1504 Right. Obviously all questions on time travel have this flaw, let’s over look it.
My mom was pretty dang hot in her horned rim glasses…I ‘d snag the kiss and still kill a friend just to be assured of success.
@J0E Do some Koan work. Perhaps you will understand better.
I would make out with my friend then kill my mom.
There would be no point to any of it. Dad and mom got together and performed the necessary biological activity without any outside intervention.
[mod says]: hey guys, this is a legit question with plenty of details to go on. @J0E has asked for your thought processes behind your decisions so can we please try to answer the question properly? :)
@J0E just told me my answer didn’t have to be in the time frame of the movie. So that means i would have to answer in present time. This I cannot do for legal reasons.
@J0E I could tell you, but then I’d have to kill you… kill you sooner I mean.
@janbb Infinitely great answer.
neither! first, my mom is the very special lady, but NOT that way. Secondly, would never even think about killing anyone, much less a friend.

^relevant to the question.~
@UScitizen Just say “kiss my mom” and move on. Leave that other shit behind.
@BoBo1946 does that mean you’d make out with your mom too? or that you are going to go on a completely unrelated and futile political rant?
Is this dilemma part of a new Saw movie?
Thinking about it, I’d have to opt for making out with your mom.
My mom was 19 when I was born in 1954. I’d have rather kissed her when she was 18 than kill a friend.
Good friends are a rare thing and I protect my friends.
No questions – I’d make out with my mom. That kind of thing doesn’t gross me out.
Mom, I would prefer no one died on my watch.
Making out with my mom sounds pretty disturbing, but I’d rather do that than to have to kill somebody.
I’d have to save the friend I suppose. The trauma woul take less time to overcome.
Why go back in time—do both today.
@Dr_C @BoBo1946 does that mean you’d make out with your mom too? or that you are going to go on a completely unrelated and futile political rant?
Just re-read the question…disregard my prior comments.
