What saying do a picture of a penny, an owl thinking E=mc(Squared), a pound, a gas meter towards full, and -ish add up to?

I’m playing a game on my computer and all those pictures add up to a saying but I can’t figure it out. Help?

Penny wise, pound foolish. Sheesh!
Well, a penny is/was made out of copper, right? Now, most owls are nocturnal. If you mix copper with nocturnal, you get noctopper. The pound is obvious, the abbreviation is lb. Now, for the tricky part. Almost full on the gas meter means you’re leaving the gas station. When you’re leaving the gas station, you’re going from gas, shortened to gogas. So if you put all of these seperate factors together, you get noctopper lb gogas, which, in pre-latin translates closely to our modern phrase “That’s what she said.”
Everything is easy when it’s broken down. Hope this helps.
They have to fit the following spaces: _ _ _ _ _ / _ _ _ , / _ _ _ _ / _ _ _ _ _ _ _
