Air hits the larynx, and….here, just look….here.
What Brownlemur said, and it makes a vibration. If you talk, you can hear the vibration in your throat and chest.
It doesn’t always come from the throat as evidenced by most political speeches ;)
Which is why, in Zombie movies, I never believe they are really moaning, because they’re not breathing. Thus, no air is passing the vocal cords.
