Is there room in a Smart Car for a person 6 ft. 5 in. tall and weighes 245 pounds?
I have only looked at a Smart Car from a distance. what i see so far, i do not like. the wheels are small and its definetely not a family vehicle. i know the engine must be terribly small. my real concern is the inside space and comfort for a big man. does this exist in a Smart Car or am i just fooling myself?

My friend, I think you are SOL.
But, never say never till you actually sit in one.
Doesn’t sound like you fit in ANY car!!
I’m 6’2” and 190. I test drove one and had surprisingly ample room. In your case at 6’5” and 245, there may not be much room for anything else. I didn’t get in the back seat, just the drivers seat. It’s a small engine too!
You may be sexually assaulted by the handbrake.A tight squeeze by the sounds of it.Now that would be a legitimate case of DUI.Not a smart move.
Sexually assaulted by the handbrake!!!!!! now that made me laugh. thanks. i think i will just slide on a Smart Car, not too good of a smart idea.
You should test drive one. There’s a bunch of those Hot Wheels looking things around here. I once saw one driven by a guy so fat, all you could see was the color of his shirt in all the windows and a really small face in the windshield.
I agree, test drive one and see! Maybe they have a slightly bigger model somewhere.
@fireinthepriory I don’t think they do. Honestly, though, I don’t see the point in getting a Smart Car.
The Prius beats it in mileage, and the Mini Cooper isn’t very far behind. Hell, the Audi A3 is about even, according to this website.
So, there’s a bunch of cars that would be better or equal in fuel economy that don’t look like Hot Wheels cars and can comfortably fit two or more people. Even tall people.
@mrentropy A Smart Car is about half the price of a Prius if you’re buying new. But yes, nothing beats a Prius if you’re looking for the best milage.
Trading in that big police cruiser, eh?
