How do they pick who is on Dancing with the Stars?
Nicole Scherzinger is going to be on this season. WHY would they put her in?
I think part of the point of it is to see people who can’t dance progress through the season and get better and better.
So why would you put in someone really athletic, whose career was basically dancing, to compete with football players, models, and a mom?
Doesn’t she have too much of a competitive advantage?
Granted it’s gonna be nice watching her in those skimpy outfits ;)

Who used to be famous, and needs money and/or exposure bad?
It looks like a popularity contest to me. I expect to see Lady Gaga on the show at some point dancing with Apollo Ohno.
Dance shows aren’t my thing so in my esteem, it’s with all the rest of those reality shows existing in an incredibly huge bucket of “who cares?”
They just try to mix it up. She is not someone who has that big of a built-in following, which may put her at a disadvantage.
I thought the same about Evan Lysacek.
Then I Googled for pictures of Nicole Scherzinger and I understand better now.

I pretty much hate everything on TV, but the few times I watched Dancing with the Stars, I liked the humility of the non-dancers. You have to be a good sport to go on that show.
Because fake boobs are ratings boosters.
I have also seen people voted off that were more skilled than the ones who stayed. It is just entertainment :)
