@tinyfaery yes, that’s what the entire thing is called – but because each year we may change locations and others will contribute their stuff from other places…we need a name for the local project.

@SeventhSense yes yes, har har – I think it’s a consideration..the term visibility is familiar to many in the social justice community – it’s not about its literal meaning..well it’s mostly not about that.

Feminism across the demographics?

I kinda like just “More than Mermaids” @SeventhSense. It says, in a fun way, that something more than gender is taking place. Refers to a local happening. Could easily develop lore. Easy to remember. Something I would look at twice. The title brings one in. It would just need a good defining slug line or motto like The Feminist Photo Project.

More than Mermaids acts as a web-site address. Feminist Visibility Project could be a great slug-line descriptor.

How is it progressing?

@liminal I’ve talked about it to many people and will shortly start doing more active engagement of people, making facebook page and flyers, etc…I also talked to Harlem United people and they want to do a booth together with our event so that people can get HIV screenings.
