Why do people automatically doubt my honestness?

Lots of people call me a liar when they barely know me. Why?
I talk to people at school and on streets, but most gawk and walk away. Teachers always think it was me, when something goes wrong, even when I know it wasn’t. They say I don’t do my homework when I do. My parents are against me. I can not drive at night and I have to come straight home from school. They think I’m Goth or something. Facebook people post crap on my page bout lying and exaggerating. Why is this happening to me.

Do you either lie or exxagerate?
Do you dress in a way that makes a statement of some kind and that people might associate with dishonesty?
I think your avatar (toxic) and your profile I hate people. say it all. It’s the image you project that causes people to react that way.
wait, you said you were younger than 13..
me: Are you 13+?
Everest: @Violet 2.
me: Was that a typo? Did you mean to say 12?
Everest: @Violet Prodigy 2 year old. Surely your all seeing eye can see that.
Sarcasm: @Violet I figured she meant 13+2, 15.
.....
Fiddle_Playing_Creole_Bastard: 14. I’m almost positive.
Everest: Lower, ppl, lower.
Apparently because something about you gives that impression. Care to give more details?
You exude hostility in your profile and your attitude on this website. Here is a hilarious example, here you blatantly admit it, and I have seen many cracks of yours at the members in other threads. @Violet lists one of your cracks.
I cannot decide on your honesty, or lack thereof, but suspect that if your attitude in real life is like what you display here, it is off putting which would lead to distrust. Honest or dishonest, that is not going to earn liking or trust.
Just from your lack of detail in your question and details, and how it some of it doesn’t make since makes me doubt your honesty already. For example, if you did your homework, there is no way your teachers would doubt that, for you would do well on tests, and you’d have actual grades for turn in assignments.
I tune people out once I realize they exaggerate. That’s one of the most annoying attributes someone could have, because I see right through it, but I have better tact than to just point it out in front of people.
Because you sound like a very angry and hostile person.
Perhaps you are really a loving and caring person, but with the outward attitude you are exuding, then people will react accordingly to you, and be hostile in return.
Perhaps you are just getting back what you give out. Show love and care, and you will get the same. Remember it is in the dark sand and dirt we find diamonds. I think human beings are like that. Find wonderful people on this planet and look after the ones who turn out to be diamonds. :)
It’s all about first impressions and the image you convey. That sir is no accident and you have every opportunity to make it what ever you choose. If you aren’t happy with how people perceive you…change your image and attitude. Pretty simple.
Has anybody else notice what a short attention span @Everest has? She/he abandons questions after the first few answers.
Perhaps it’s because you think being an ass is somehow edgy?
because you have to admit that you do say lies. Because you want to make others like you by telling fake stories.. I had that problem too, but i have eventualy past it. send me a msg if u want more info
Everyone says lies…but to the point of being accused everytime? Everest, judging by your past posts (and this, I admit, is not drawing on very accurate evidence, as people are liable to change at any moment of their lives), you view the world in a slightly dystopian way. Okay, I’m going to be real cliche and cheesy about this, but every cloud has a silver lining, and sometimes blessings are disguised as curses. Also…on your profile with you hating people….you’re a person too, don’t forget that! Everyone makes mistakes, but that in no way means that you can just go hating on them like that. You are in no way elevated above all other beings, you’re not Jesus, and even if you are a Christ-like figure (which, forgive me, honestly I doubt), then do what Christ did…not swearing and hating on everybody like they killed your parents or something (assuming you still love your parents…it happens to everyone sometimes).
In any case, take care and I wish you the best on the road you have taken.
@YARNLADY I guess that’s only fair. Perhaps we bore him. I know he bores me. Quite the accomplishment for having been in my sphere of knowledge for less than 48 hours. Yawn.
I resent the assumption that Goths are all angry misanthropes. >_>
It might be your attitude, if it’s anything in real life like it is is here, but really we’re just hearing about how others treat you, not how you treat them. I couldn’t say. But teenage angst and apathy is usually never well met. I’m not saying it’s wrong, be who you wanna be, or are. But for example, saying things like you hate the world when, forgive me for saying, you probably know next to nothing about it since I perceive a lack of willingness to learn, may indeed make folks doubt the validity of your words.
But don’t let me tell you what is, as I know nothing of it either. The point is, as most say it might have to do with your attitude, but as for the homework thing…well I don’t get that. I mean don’t you hand it in?
I’ve got some experience with biased teachers though, it isn’t pretty when they have power over you and it’s everyone’s word against yours. Hopefully it isn’t anything like that. somehow I doubt it
@Symbeline here here very few people “youngsters” know the real origin of Goths and the beauty of it all. You’ve just given me a great idea for a question :)
Because you write it that way.
(Sings) “Honestness, it’s such a lovely word….”
Why do we even reply to these questions?
