Once your question gets send to mod-land is there any way to EVER get it back without going to chat?
i posted a question this afternoon, and I thought it was fairly legitimate, but it got moderated and they said it was to much of a simple poll. I edited it and they said i should take it to the chat room. What if I don’t want to go to the chat room? Is there any way to make the moderator happy enough with the question to let it fly?
I’m getting kind of annoyed with it.

Ask a question that’s not a poll or suck it up and go to the chat room.
it wasn’t a poll, that’s why I’m annoyed. and the chat room is boring.
No, you can’t ‘get it back’. I suggest you simply try asking it again, or click on the contact link at the top of the page and ask for guidance.
The fluther guidelines are actually an excellent source of information on how to write good questions and not get modded.
Whining is good. Especially public whining.
What was the question? Maybe we can give you some tips.
Try bribing the mods with chocolate…works every time for me.
@dpworkin Whining and dining are even better.
[mod says] When a question is returned to you for editing, we usually give suggestions on what you can do to make it better. If you don’t receive any, or don’t understand them, or just need help, you can send the moderators a note. We’re happy to help you get your question posted… if there’s any way it can be made to fit the guidelines. :)
