I have found a very expensive article belonging to the government. I have notified them about this, but they deny any knowledge of it. Can I keep it?

I would test it for radiation first. I’m not kidding about that.
You can keep it until the government decides it wants it back. They will let you know.
Are you sure you contacted the right parties?
Try being a little more discreet as Nancy Pilosi will not want the press getting wind she lost her gold plated vibrator on the beach. Send it to Rahm, he will make sure she gets it.
What is this object you found?
How do you know it belongs to the government?
If this is a real question and not a joke or a troll, your first step should have been to not tell the government that you have this item. The second step would be to not discuss it on a public internet forum.
