What's your motto on knowing if someone is right to go out with?

I don’t focus on looks but I have to fancy the person. What I really look for is someone that makes me happy.

I think it’s slightly silly to make criteria such as “must be smart.”, etc. Maybe their are a few vital criteria but mostly fancying someone is subjective and doesn’t really have any criteria apart from how I feel.
