what is realtek really for, anyway?
Realtek is part of your sound card’s drivers. What you disabled probably isn’t the actual driver, but the icon in the system tray that lets you change certain settings such as microphone volume or something obscure. You probably will never notice it’s gone. Personally if I had the icon, I’d remove it too.
no, i really accidentally removed the PROGRAM not just the ICON from the startup
Well that is certainly not good. Do you still have sound?
yes, it is still on the PC but the problem is that it does not startup with the PC anymore
what operating system are you running
that would be great!!!!
if i knew where the program is…
i searched almost ALMOST everywhere, the only place i could find realtek is on control panel
did you acually search for it? like in the computer’s file search?
yes, 5t d5dnt f5nd anyth5ng ne5ther
well son of an onion. i’m sorry I believe this is beyond my abilities :( i hate admitting defeat like this
but, would you please continue to search for the answer please, sir? :( or mam?
The forums say this could be anything. Realtek is one tough hombre to work with. If you still have sound, why are you trying to get it running again?
cuz, i share the laptop with my sis [mum, took mine for now…] she might look for it later…
how come every, ok maybe not EVERY but MOST of my questions, problems…
im the one who solves it. pft. :D
I’m sorry :/ I really tried though
