What's wrong with my FireFox? My email isn't loading correctly?
For a few days now, I have been attempting to log into my Yahoo email account, but Firefox won’t load the page. When the browser is done with the process, the page looks like this and it won’t function. I press the sign in button nothing happens.
Is the problem me or the software? Is there a way to fix this? Thanks in advance for the help.

Sounds more like a yahoo problem. Get them on the help chat-line and let them know.
I had this problem for about a week, then it went away.
Perhaps you could delete your cookies/temp. internet files and try again.
- On a tangent of this, I highly recommend Google Chrome. It’s much faster than Firefox, and I’ve had ZERO problems of this nature since I switched to it. Coincidence or not, it’s a much better browser either way.
Yahoo’s been doing this to me off and on for days. I have no idea what the problem is, but rest assured it ain’t Firefox. I tried my mail with IE and it did the same.
Fine, but my Firefox is lunching too. It says it crashed and I should submit a crash report. I do, twice a day. “You crashed, what are you going to do about it?” They never reply.
I hate them. Safari is keeping me alive. Maybe I’ll try Google Chrome, but I hate to put too many eggs in their basket.
Maybe fire foxes don’t like artique foxes? :-)
It looks like Firefox is having problems loading the CSS file which renders all the page styling. You might want to take a look at your preferences. If you have images or styling turned off for faster browsing, that would probably be the problem. You might also want to try turning off your Firefox skin.
@janbb Does sound like a rather difficult relationship…;)
The CSS is definitely AWOL – sounds like a new Yahoo bug from the other posters here. It never hurts to clean everything out though – dump out your cookies, cache, history, etc. You can also set up a new profile and see if that resolves the crashing. If all else fails, uninstall and reinstall (and if you’re on a Mac, make sure to zap the preferences files too).
Aside from clearing history, cookies….ect i would open up yahoo mail in a new window…...often makes a diff….
