Asked by Hearts (6points) March 11th, 2010

One of my best friends died. I thought I would make a drawing of him as a gift to his parents. I want to draw flowers but Im not sure about the flowers meanings. Its in black in white so I thought Id draw white flowers but I want to be sure about wich flowers to draw. Im looking for a meaning of sympathy, honesty and maybe hope.

Thanks.

The best is ‘lily of the valley’,means the ‘return of happiness’. You can also add some poem on your drawing to make it nicer.

First, i think your friend is very fortuante to have friend like you. my partner, in CID, died. we were closer than brothers. he would come by my house, on my day off, and wait outside till i woke up. my wife made us coffee and he just hated to be away from me. no, we were not gay, just great friends. he knew the criminals mo and i did the paperwork. we were a great detective team. he died, because he would not take his blood pressure medicene. at his funeral, i asked my flower shop to make a special wreath for him. it actually was very simple. it was approx. two feet long and one and a half feet tall, made of yellow daisies and in the middle in blue flowers(name unknown), was written the words MY PARTNER, MY FRIEND. my wreath was place beside his casket with the other hundreds. it stood out and everyone knew exactly what it meant. he had a painful funeral. my point is this, be original and to the point with your friends wreath. your family and friends will know it came from you, without a doubt.
