yes I’ve seen it.
I will say that it is a fun movie to watch and I was entertained. But what you ned to know about the film is that it is a huge piece of propogansa for a religion/cult/philosophy called RSE (Ramtha’s School of Enlightenment) which is run by somone who believes they are channeling an enlightened Atlantian.
The movie is full of pseudoscience and many scientific errors. There are many people who are interviewed (documentary style) who are represented as experts in the field, but very few of them have degrees that even pertain to what is being discussed.
I recommend having a look atthe wikipedia on this one, they give great links explain the “scientific” claims the movie makes.
But yes it was fun to watch, and the “atlantian” is one of the “experts” interviewed, that is worth it right there.
The science is questionable and it is a recruitment tool for a cult.
Yes, I’ve seen it.
I thought the film was despicable. A piece of tripe full of condescending, new-age self-help advice disguised as science and cloaked in a heaping helping of mumbo-jumbo and god-awful “personal drama”. Also, as other people have mentioned, it’s cult propaganda to boot. I had to watch it for a class and it was a painful experience in every way possible.
@Noon I totally agree. I looked up JZ Knight and decided that she was a quack because I didn’t seem to comprehend why she would give the credit of her understandings to some supposed entity that she was “channeling’ separate from herself. “Ramtha has the knowledge of this and Ramtha has the knowledge of that..blah blah blah” It’s you JZ, it’s you, sheesh.
