Just wondering what kind of thoughts transpire through your mind when you first wake up every day?

Whatever pops up, you know…
Hey, I’m a guy. :)
Did I dream? (If yes) I have to write that down…after I pee
I think about how much time I might have to myself before the rest of the house wakes up.
I think about how much I want to stay asleep.
On a morning that I have work: “Shit! Now I remember hearing my alarm go off while I was sleeping…”
On a morning that I don’t have work: “So… thirsty…” (Here I grab a bottle of water that’s hopefully on my nightstand, and chug it.) “Ahh…” (Back to sleep)
Once I actually wake up on a morning that I don’t have work: I think about what I was just dreaming about, then my mind goes blank for a minute, then I remember what led up to me getting in bed the night before.
oh why, oh why, do we have a bladder??
@bazza Haha, combine that with a hungry cat & you’re in trouble!
How grateful I am to have woken up. The alternative, being eternal sleep, not all that attractive to me right now!
as soon as I wake up I ask my self- what time is it?- cause i tend to oversleep…a lot.
I made it another day. thank you, Lord.
always a song… I have a chronic tendency towards getting songs stuck in my head. I’m always thinking of a song. Even right now. this one to be specific… my brother plays it repetitively. I could probably sing it backwards.
“Oh, crap. Do I really have to get out of bed now?”
The circus is in town again.
Thinking that i wanna get out of the house ang be in school already!
First pee, then coffee.
Oh, and there’s a thought about washing my hands in the middle.
“Yes Angelina i’d love a coffee” Then I realise it was a fucking dream…shit!
It sounds sappy but I usually think about my boyfriend as well as the fact that I don’t want to get out of bed whether I am with my boyfriend or not!
Must feed cats. Make coffee. I don’t wanna get up. This sucks.
Depends if it is a work day…then I’m thinking I wish it a was 5 o’clock.
If it’s a weekend day…I’m thinking ‘give me some loving’...yeah baby :)
Made it through another night of acid reflux!
Oh yeah, how many times can I possibly, conceivably, get away with hitting this snooze button, before I have to face the reckoning of the world.
I wiggle my limbs and smile that everything works, look around and smile more if I wake up next to my partner.
@Symbeline Substitute “dog” for “cat” and you’ve got my morning in a nutshell!
I think “has my boyfriend gone to work yet, or do I have time to nip down for a cuddle” Downstairs that is!
