There used to be four of us. We celebrated every birthday together. Now there have been marriages and births and people moving to be near each other. Hard to find time to have a birthday party every few weeks. But it’s a tradition!!!! What to do?

We have all our February birthdays at one time, and so on for the months that have several.
Yarn Lady said what I was thinking first.
The 15th of each month would be a good compromise.
Go to them especially the new babies…time flies and before you know it they are all grown up.
Yeah, combining works for my family. Otherwise we’d be throwing a party every week from the beginning of March until the middle of May. And nobody wants to see each other that often. XD
Buy a bigger calendar and write everyones birthdate in the appropriate box. sending a gift card has saved us a bunch of money, rather than sending a gift by mail. the recepients seem to be happy and it works for us.
One a month like @YARNLADY said.
Or, stop celebrating adult birthdays if that is what you are doing? When you say four of us, do you mean four siblings growing up? In my family parties and gifts are for children. If within a nuclear family you want to celebrate an adult birthday, like a husband to a wife, fine, but everyone giving everyone gifts gets out of hand if your family is large, or if there is a rule that everyone has to make a party for every occasion, it becomes an obligation that is sometimes annoying.
My wife’s family holds 4 birthdays a year. Those born January to March, then April-June, etc. Every person gets their own cake and own Happy Birthday song. And then presents.
Combos: perfect.
Thank you, o large-family experts!!!
We have three birthdays in February-elder bro, cousin and mom. We celebrate all of them on my mom’s birthday. Works for us.
