Does anyone remember the name of this 80's tv series?

It was Automan with Desi Arnaz Jr.
I tried watching it again, once. I just couldn’t do it, even though I loved that show as a kid.

Classic show. My wife never believes the 80s shows I used to watch actually existed. She missed them somehow. The guy who played Automan, Chuck Wagner, is also a Broadway star and currently the ringmaster for Ringling Brother’s and Barnum and Bailey’s Circus. Got all this off his bio at the circus last year, which reminded me of the show.

I wanted to post “Mac and C*H*E*E*S*E”, the TV show starring Joey Tribianni.

I also loved The Highwayman, Manimal, and Misfits of Science.

@JeffVader I spent years trying to remember the name of Automan. I would ask my friends and they thought I was crazy. It got to the point where I was beginning to question if I’d actually seen it. Then one day I asked my mother and she said, “Yeah, Automan. You don’t remember that?” Since then, I’ve made sure to remind myself every once in a while.

@Snarp I liked Highwayman… I may need to see if I can find that anywhere. But, if it’s like Automan, I might not be able to sit through even one episode.

Now, if someone can tell me where I can watch Doctor, Doctor, Herman’s Head, and Whoops! I’d appreciate it.

@mrentropy I think Highwayman was a bit better than Automan. A bit. Actually I would put it on about the same level as that Lorenzo Lamas bounty hunter thing Renegade? Basically it was a cross between that, Knight Rider, and B.J. and the Bear.

I spent the eighties trying to avoid television!
