I have. When I lived in san Francisco, my buddy and I saw this guy beating up his girlfriend in Golden Gate park, we broke it up and “persuaded” him to stay put until the cops arrived. When they got there, we had to sign some paperwork acknowledging we’d made a citizen’s arrest.
