I’ve tried to get the answer on my own, but there are conflicting theories.
What do you think?

It chillaxes you. I don’t think it would make you hyper unless it was laced with something!
After extensive research I would say it’s a depressant. Occasionally you may come across a strain that has stimulating effects, but for the most part it’s definitely a depressant.
Experts have opined that while many drugs clearly fall into the category of either stimulant, depressant, or hallucinogen, cannabis exhibits a mix of all properties, perhaps leaning the most towards hallucinogen or psychedelic properties, though with other effects quite pronounced as well. Though tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) is typically considered the primary active component of the cannabis plant, various scientific studies have suggested that certain other cannabinoids may also play a significant role in its psychoactive effects
I would say it’s a depressent since it does relax you, but like alcohol you can catch a good buzz and feel stimulated.
Both. depends on what your doing at the time. could go either way
@Facade Yeah—the erowid folks are sticklers for real information, so it’s a good souce for most drug information.
For me it’s a stimulant. Get me more hyper than 4 cans of Redbull. But for everyone else it’s a depressant.
I think it relaxes your body, and stimulates your mind…...at least for me, it made me super-creative. (and hungry) lol
Stimulants don’t make you hyper, depressants don’t make you depressed. Drugs are classified as one or the other based off strictly physiological effects, not how it makes you feel. Alcohol is a depressant, even if it makes you excited. Depressants suppress certain organ functions (brain/liver in the case of alcohol), stimulants stimulate organ activity (the heart in the case of caffeine). If you drank coffee and got real sad and tired, it wouldn’t make caffeine a depressant.
THC is primarily classified as a psychoactive, not a stimulant or depressant.
