I ask what movie makes you mad and it get edited as just a poll but some one else asks what movie makes you sad and it gets left alone, um what’s the deal?

Perhaps it’s the way you worded your question.
Sometimes it’s key to word your question a certain way so it doesn’t come off like you’re taking a poll.
Or perhaps the mods missed the other question.
Or perhaps the mod who pulled your question is on her period.
From our guidelines:
Why was my question removed when these other, similar ones weren’t?
Sometimes the moderation team misses a question. Sometimes a question that doesn’t look like it will breed thoughtful discussion does, and it stays. We’re also a little more lenient with new users as they get acclimated to the culture.
Does anyone read the guidelines anymore?
As I’ve said in the past, if you can’t moderate them all then leave them all alone unless they are so horribly written or completely inane that they can’t be understood. Or if they get flagged 5+ times. I’ve been on a thread that had more than a couple of responses and it got pulled even though it looked like a good or humorous discussion would ensue.
wow it feels good to get back! Please don’t regret letting me in Auggie…I’ll be good!
btw, no movie angers me as much as “Birth of a Nation”. It is the worst kind of filmmaking.
