hi,
I am looking to upgrade my monitor from hp w1907 to something bigger
I love my current monitor cuz it got nice glossy look on it but 19” seems bit small to play PS3 games
I am looking at 22”~25” screen on the market either brand new/used (under $300 canadian dollars)
I got three monitors in mind (from kijiji.ca)
hp w2558hc – $300 used
samsung t240 – $300 used
samsung t220hd -$260 brand new
and Dell canada has few monitors on sale

any of these good????
I have looked at the many reviews but looking for someone who is actually expert in these areas…..
My main use of the monitor would be PS3 gaming and external monitor for my laptop
give me your suggestions..!!
THANKS

im not to picky when it comes to monitors, as long as its the size i want and the color is good so am i.
however, ask the shop keeper, if he is willing to replace the monitor for you if when you get it out of the box you find that it has dead/defective pixels… most places will not replace a monitor that has a dead pixel, and then you are stuck with it. and more monitors have dead pixels than you would think. so this is really a thing worth asking.
Dell ultrasharp 2407 was the one I owned. Superb quality – great warranty (my ipod broke, I thought it was the monitor making the noise – so I called, complained, they sent me a new unit, I sent my old one back – no questions asked – later I found out it was my ipod…)
<3 Dell.
They have newer versions now – But I don’t hesitate to recommend it.
Not to mention they have all the set ups for your gaming rig. No speakers though, so I had to hook my xbox through my computer for sound. I haven’t checked anymore since I use a 42inch tv as my computer monitor now…
The Samsung T220HD is also a TV, it has a built-in tuner, I chose the T260HD for that reason.
The same is true of the 2333HD and T240HD
