Has Anybody Here Been Employed as a Domestic Worker and Required to Wear a Uniform?
Has anybody here been employed as a domestic worker and required to wear a uniform? Maybe as a maid, nanny, houseboy/housegirl, kitchen girl/kitchen boy, cleaner girl/cleaner girl or whatever. This question is also for those who have been an au pair.
If yes, which clothes were you required to wear? Maybe a blouse and a skirt for girls and dress shirt, necktie/bowtie and pants for boys? Any nametag? Tell which clothes.

I’m a domestic worker and nope. Never have, never would.
@Anonymoususer Due to past communication between us about this exact same topic, I’m wondering why you care about this so much? I’m starting to think you have some fantasy you’re trying to find ideas for. What’s the story?
I just wanted to know how common it is, nothing more with that.
I guess you could call it that. Anyway, she made me wear the uniform!
Yep. It was in an old folks home.
Snowberry, I don’t refer to people working in retirement homes as domestic workers.
OK, fine. I’ve also worked as a domestic worker in someone’s home. I was a private maid for a family during the Olympics.
In addition, I ran a house cleaning business for many years. And no, I didn’t have to wear a uniform.
Which Olympics, Snowberry.
The 2002 Winter Olympics.
2002 was in Salt Lake City
