What would be your opinion of Ted Kaczynski, if all of his mail recipients had been junk mailers?

For those of you who are unfamiliar with Teddy, here’s an article about him: http://www.trutv.com/library/crime/terrorists_spies/terrorists/kaczynski/1.html

The Unabomber?
I don’t think anyone deserves a bomb delivered in the mail just for being a junk mail sender.

I see the humor in what you are saying! Dark. Quite dark.

The guy is interesting, though. I mean, he was this brilliant scholar, and I agree with some of the things he has (allegedly) written, and I see his train of thought. But how can someone so ingenious honestly believe that sending bombs to people would actually change the world? Did he really think he would never get caught?

Good point and yet he claims that he isn’t crazy. ;-)

Not crazy just evil and malicious. Honestly. sending a bomb to anyone is just a hateful thing to do. Everyone has family, loved ones, what if a child were to open a package containing a bomb. If you disagree with a persons actions or beliefs, call them on it, argue your case, killing them for holding those views, or performing those actions, well, thats just wrong. Should he have targeted junk mailers? sheesh. Any junk mail that comes through our door goes straight through the shredder (if addressed.. ID theft etc) and/or straight into our recycle bin. It’s a job people, and annoying though the stuff is, everybody needs to earn a living, these guys have families to feed too. Dark humour indeed.
