Has anyone ever been accused of something they did not do?
Hello, my name is Vincent Mirabella. Yesterday I was asked to come down to the police precient to look at a video so that i might be able to recoginize someone perpetrating criminal acts…It turned out that i was the person, it was a pictue but not a video,so i feel as if they lied to me jut to get me down there…now the picture may look like me,it is a pretty good resemblance…but it was not me and the officers were not very nice and it seemed like they just needed someone to take the fall…iam a very hard worker iam a student iam a voter and a tax payer and have no criminal record what so ever…iam so scared that my life will be ruined because of mistaken identity or because the officers just need a face to fit the body…please please please…if anyone could just give me some advice it will be greatly appreciated, im losing my mind thinking that my life will be over because these cops “Believe” that, that is me in that picture….
Thanks for reading..if you did haha…I need help

Get a lawyer now. Don’t waste time online. Start calling different places immediately to find someone who will represent you.
Ditto the others… lawyer now.
Lawyer up, yo.
And FFS don’t talk about this online anymore. The cops can use it against you.
You can’t be serious . . . how could you be on Fluther if you’ve been accused by the cops. If what you’re saying is true, then you would have been charged of the crime already and either been arraigned or awaiting an arraignment hearing in lockdown.
And whats the “haha” for?
Very sorry to hear this, I would suggest you hire a lawyer immediately.
If things do not work out, I am even more sorry, these things happen and it ruins lives.
Yes I have been accused by the police for something I did not do. Those cops and the cops that are accusing you are pure evil.
Of course you did it. How else did they find – a picture on its own doesn’t have an address. They had more to go on and are only showing part of their case.
@beancrisp That’s a little overbaord, don’t you think? Pure evil are the murderers and rapists that the cops put away. It’s a case of mistaken identity, not an attempted railroading.
Thant being said, never speak to a cop without a lawyer present. You have a right to not speak to them, they can’t force you to say anything. Also if you are not being charged with anything you technically have the right to leave at any time.
