What art craft skills do you have?
not many but I am a quick learner
You can always cook or bake her something. If you don’t feel like you have any special kitchen skills, you could fairly easily do something like this (a homemade mix for cookies).
If that doesn’t appeal to you, you could make a simple scrapbook or photo-collage with pictures of the kids at the preschool.
I go with baking something.
I like both ideas of baking something and making a scrapbook or photo- collage with pictures at the preschool. thanks for your help
Whatever you may do, try to personalize it. Add a decorative tag with ribbon or something of that sort. Think of her favorite colors and things.
if you bake something then pack it up really with really pretty packaging. you can even throw in a pack of pretty napkins (if you can, since they’re bought).
@RedPowerLady I gave my broke daughter that once and she loved it.
@faye I love them too. They are so simple and cheap to make. And they are great to get!
Stenciled trivets – they’re fun, not too hard, look really cool!
No-Sew Blanket – pretty much fool-proof, unique, definitely useful, and you can tell it was from the heart. The only downside is all the cutting and tying can get a little tedious.
A thank you card is alwas nice. And easy.
Recipe in a jar? You put ingredients for things like soups or cookies, maybe hot chocolate all in a jar together. It looks pretty nice. Try googling it :)
Edit :Oops, Redpowerlady beat me to it
@La_chica_gomela Love the no-sew blankets. Someone gave me one for my little girl and it is so pretty. Now next babyshower I go to I want to make one b/c they are so simple to make but turn out great!
