Everytime I use Garlic, I can’t get rid of the smell on my fingers for weeks. I try to limit how much I touch the Garlic, but it is still there. Soap and water just doesn’t seem to work.
Any ideas?

Take a stainless steel piece of flatware, put it under running water from the tap, and put your nose-offending digits under the stream of water. Presto!
Vinegar. Dip them in and let them dry. Vinegar smell will go away quickly.
@squirbel fascinating! How does that work, exactly?
Why would you want to? It smells delicious!
Lemon and salt. Works for onion, too.
I tend to use a garlic press so I rarely ever touch the stuff with my bare hands.
Some people think that using a garlic press can release oils in such a way that the garlic will taste bitter. As a sort of Pascal’s Wager of the kitchen, I always use a sharp knife.
I’m going with lemon as well. Lemon covers a multitude of faults!
@erichw1504 Oh, that’s just what I was going to say. I LOVE garlic.
More importantly, can you tell me what this towel soaked in chloroform smells like?
Maybe you should just get your fingers off of the garlic smell!
You wash your hands. Or lick it clean!..Duh..lol
hand sanitizer.. it will also remove gas instantly
@goodmoodgirl So, it’s an alternative to Beano? Didn’t know that.~
what squirbel said! really works. it works for onion as well
Soak your hands in ketchup or tomato sauce.
If you have a stainless steel kitchen sink, you can just rub your hands on that. It works like magic! Or… you can get one of these stainless steel soap bars. They’re easier to get in between your fingers than your sink… plus they’re cute. You can probably find them cheaper somewhere else.
Oops, I see @squirbel has already said all this :/
Is this really not about sex?
