What is your idea of a perfect day?

Finding 20$ in a winter-coat pocket.

Beautiful weather – sunny, but not desert hot – a nice breeze. Great food, family and friends together. Oh…and great music! The kids all playing together and no one fighting.
We don’t have to be at some fancy vacation spot…just home – the more simple the better.

This one’s not bad. Early spring, crisp, weekend, people coming over for dinner, going to the nearby seafood outlet to get mussels to make a paella, lady of leisure, repotting geraniums, placid, the plum tree is throwing petals all over the yard. Welcome to fluther, @MoneyMakingMommy.

Maybe when people notice me?

A good t.v. line-up of new shows with a bucket of KFC and 2 liters of cold root beer

robbing the bank.

Coffee with the sunrise,a walk on the beach,work on a painting while listening to good music,bubble bath,dinner,concert,back home to make him scream like a little girl ;)That’s just Monday ;))

A day walking the streets of Manahgrad in the Glorious National Republic; legions of fans following me, shouting out their wishes so their dear Director Vohu can hear them, with the strength of the national army following to keep any rioters out. There would be banners waving in the streets, complimented by the presence of the National Hall of Triumph to represent the might of the omnipotent state and the abject weakness of its citizens.
A visit to the candy factory would be a close second.

A perfect day for me would be like having nothing to worry about, seeing a favorite crush and no rain/snow.

Not sure if I’d ever want to experience one.
Only disappointment and anticlimax could follow.
Maybe the imperfections of a day are a good thing.
Kept to a minimum though.
That would be nice.

waking up a bit lighter and everything follows on from that

MORNING-The president comes down from the sky riding his jet pack and hands me a trillion gazillion dollars. I get to eat the perfect bowl of Cheerios. I get woken up by a talking cat.
AFTERNOON-Get mob-rushed by supermodels. Receive the best person ever award. Get bitten by a radioactive superhero and get supersuperpowers.
EVENING-Go to the fanciest party in all the land. Crash the fanciest party in all the land. Drink myself to sleep with everclear.

THE END

A perfect day for bananafish?

Rainy and stormy (yes, I’m odd).
Laying in bed, then getting up for some coffee and to read a few chapters in a book.
Go hang at a friend’s house, playing games at whatnot with our group.
Going back home and accomplish something like a painting or learning a new song, or even sewing some clothes.
Making a meal for myself, enjoy it with a nice movie curled up on the couch. Maybe go back out with friends but probably not since I enjoy solitude.
Going to sleep listening to the rain and my cat purring next to me. :)

A day I don’t have to use my AK. But today was a good day.
Perfect day would be hitting the gym for an hour, tanning, chinese food.. and taking an extremely long nap. Maybe ordering a LOT of MAC (without having to pay for it myself) :)

One in which I have done something productive, something relaxing, and had good company.

We have a lazy breakfast, eating croissants and thick hot chocolate on our balcony overlooking the ocean. We are wearing white robes, and have just woken up entangled in each others arms and legs. We made love and hearing the tap, tap on the door, we know our breakfast has arrived.

We take a long walk along the cliff overlooking the ocean. We have a picnic basket and a blanket. The day is bright and the sky is blue as forever. We find a secluded spot sheltered from the wind, yet with a perfect view of the waves crashing on the rocks. We open the picnic basked, pour some wine and feed each other fruit. In a moment, our minds are on something other than food.

Later we climb down the path to the ocean and go skinnydipping. Lying in the sun on the dark sand after our swim, we once again take the pleasure of each other.

Making our way back to town as the evening falls, we find a little cafe on a dock. Magical music from multiple stringed instruments beckon is through the door, and we decide to eat there. The food in unbelievable, and we drink too much wine. Soon we are friends with everyone in the place, but we are called by that magical loon to go back to our room, where once again, we make love and go to sleep.

I love food, I love sleep and I adore humans. Accordingly, any day that involves a significant amount of these three elements may constitute my ‘perfect day’, though a lightning storm wouldn’t go amiss either.
