What's the longest break you've ever taken away from Fluther?
Did you bother to announce it (privately) to any of your friends here, or did you just quietly step out for a while? Was it a planned departure, or did you suddenly loose the groove?
Was your break away just from Fluther, or a conscious effort to spend less time online everywhere in general?

I think the longest break I’ve had from fluther was when I went to GenCon last summer. I was away for about a week and the departure was planned. I didn’t go on simply because I didn’t have a computer with me. I sort of informed people because I asked a question to see if anyone else would be there that I could meet up with alas, there was no one. In some ways I guess it was a conscious break from the internet because I could have brought my computer but I was at freaking GenCon! As much as I love fluther, a few days wandering around in gaming heaven was definitely worth the time away.
Almost a whole week, and not on purpose. I was very ill a while back, and it came on very suddenly. I had my daughters contact Bendrew to let them know about it after the fact. Besides them and the mods, nobody else really knew while I was gone.
More recently, I took a two night breather. I was just feeling a little burned out. I asked for the time off in advance this time. ;)
No more than 24 hours. I’m serious.
If I’m on a computer on a given day, I visit Fluther at least once. I do try to take breaks from the computer every now and then though, usually lasting two or three days. I got the damn Circumnavigator award about two weeks ago, which I swore I’d never let myself get. I’m still pissed about that.
Last August I spent two weeks upstate in my grandpa’s cabin, with no phone, television, radio, computer, or electricity in general, so that was probably the longest.
I’m planing on doing the same thing again this year, but for the entire month of June. A month without Fluther will definitely be the longest.
I’m also going to be doing that tonight until Tuesday as well.
About 2 months. I deleted my account and found I was missing some aspects and people of Fluther and figured the annoying shit on Fluther I would just ignore. so earlier this week I asked Auggie to re-instate my account and here I am.
About two months. I came back with a different name.
