What's a good John Cusack movie?
I haven’t seen Say Anything. Should I? A friend of mine said it was overrated. As a child of the 80’s and it being such a classic, should I feel a sense of duty to see it? I.E. Like reading a classic novel.

Hi Fidelity. Great John Cusack movie. Decent Nick Hornby book.
Better off Dead, Say Anything, Hi Fidelity
I really enjoyed Identity because of the major twists.
Being John Malkovich was great too.
1408, Serendipity, High Fidelity.
A friend recommended The Jack Bull and I couldn’t believe how good it was. This movie, I believe, was loosely based on true events.
Say Anything is one of my favorite movies. I definitely recommend it if you haven’t seen it.
I’d say Being John Malkovich. And High Fidelity.
I agree with rangerr – Say Anything..
IMHO The funniest movie he has ever made is “The Sure Thing” It was one of his first movies !
Definitely NOT must love dogs.
Here’s a John Cusack comedy classic….Better Off Dead…...very funny.
I love love love Serendipity!!! It’s one of my favorite movies of all times.
Say Anything is definitely worth seeing. And coming from me…a big movie buff who tends to like art films and who shuns most “romantic comedies” because they are all mindless parodies of each other…hopefully that will be enough to convince you that this movie is really very good and not just some mindless fluff.
Being John Malkovich
Bullets Over Broadway
The Grifters
Say Anything
Eight Men Out
The Sure Thing
He also was in a minute of Stand By Me.
@filmfann He was one of my favorite characters in Stand By Me.
@rangerr He did a pretty good imitation of the Stooges!
Yes, you should watch Say Anything!
No one has mentioned this one yet: The Journey of Natty Gann. It was one of my favorite movies when I was in middle school, back in 1985. Gaaaaaaa I’m old!
