Why is it that when I laugh really hard, I lose feeling in my fingers?
It’s only slightly, but it makes it hard to write/type because my fingers go numb.
It just happened because I saw this picture of Robert Pattinson.

You really shouldn’t laugh while operating the garbage disposal.
Okay, after seeing that image, I don’t think I can blame you for laughing so hard that your fingers went numb, ahahahahaaaa!!!
But anyway… has it ever been a problem before, or just now?
@Glow : No, it’s happened before – sometimes in class, if something really funny happens and we’re all laughing, afterward (s?) I find it hard to write notes neatly.
Hm, strange. I wonder if it has anything to do with how when you laugh, blood is focused in the upper body and head, and some how not on the fingers? I am not so sure though, that is just my guess.
There are other reasons for fingers going numb, such as carpel tunnel, but none that I have heard of with laughing.
Sounds like a blood circulation problem.
You could have a pinched nerve and when you laugh your spine shifts? Hell I don’t know!!
I think your digits lost connection with your funny bone. I saw a fix for that on the television show ER. There’s hope.
I DO THIS! Like if I am helping someone carry something heavy and they make me laugh, I just CANNOT hold onto it, not because I am shaking with laughter, but because I cannot get my hands to work, I physically cannot hold onto the box. I don’t know what this is, but I guess it is like people cry when they laugh, or snort.
Oh my Gosh! I lose the feeling in the fingers when I sneeze! My arms get really numb…..I’m not sure why… Do I need a doctor or is this normal?! ;)
I have the same thing after I laugh! My fingers are also numb when I just woke up, they feel all tingly and I can’t use a pen either! O_o!
@benhodgson don’t see what that has to do with this question 0_o
