Parents: what is your favorite candy to pilfer from your kids' Easter eggs?
My wife and I gravitate towards the Butterfinger minis and the Reeses pbc’s.

Peeps. Marshmallow peeps. Yummy
he who has chocolate, is my buddy
I never actually pilfer, I just buy a package of Reese’s Peanut Buttercup Eggs and give her one. She only gets a moderate amount of candy anyway. I prefer to give her a nice piece of jewelery. My son always got a video and other non food items along with eggs and jelly beans and chocolate.
Yeah, keep the Reese’s eggs far from me. I can’t help it.
My SO and I buy our own Easter eggs, so we don’t have to take anyone elses LOL
My children don’t get eggs , heck they hardly ever get sweets of any kind .
Peeps, peanut M&M’s, Cadbury mini eggs.
I wouldn’t say no to a smartie or malteser.
Chocolate bunny ears are the best. Got to snag them when they aren’t looking!!
Chocolate eggs. I could get away with it before the kids learned to count. That gave them the incentive to learn. Darn it.
Stale, air dried peeps!
A phenomenon of easters past and present!
Gotta give ‘em about 48 hours of well circulated air flow to mature the flavor and texture.
Pair well with a nice asian rice wine or Muscat! lol
@DrBill I do like those malted milk eggs too, hmm… I wonder if there are any to be found around here.
Although I don’t celebrate Easter (and don’t have any kids to pilfer candy from), I absolutely love the Reeses peanut butter cup eggs. I’ll buy a lot, stick them in the freezer, and have them all year. :-)
My kids were so very lucky, I don’t really like candy very much. A single Hershey’s kiss is enough to last me a week.
@Dr_Dredd Best part about those is they will be 50% off at the store tomorrow!! Nothing better than the after Easter candy sales
@Cruiser Nooo!!! I went to the stores and they’re all gone! The other crap is there, but not the Reeses! ARRGHHH!
OK, glad I got that off my chest…
@Cruiser Yup. Now I’ll have to settle for just 4 of them… :-)
