Have you taught English in Latin America?
If you have, could you say where (including city) and share some of your experiences? .. such as job availability, requirements, how you found a job, notes on culture, salary, things to prepare, etc. Thank you very much.

This is the first time in the history of my time on Fluther that I have gotten 0 responses.
Nice.
If you want to teach English in Latin America, just contact schools over there. They will love to have native English teachers around. Be ready to feel underpaid; in the other hand the cost of living will be proportional. If you have the time to do that, I recommend.
Benefits: You will learn a lot; good food; peace of mind and, if you are into it, you can be popular among the female population, or male, according to your gender.
I haven’t taught in South America but I’ve taught in other places. The places I’ve ended up were chosen pretty randomly, and I never really researched job availability or anything before I left. I just went, arrived and somehow found my way.
Teaching abroad is remarkably easy to get into, especially if you have the relevant qualifications. Have a look at this old question that has more information on teaching abroad in general, it might be helpful.
No. I have, however, been taught English in Latin America.
