What are you doing this summer, both productive and otherwise?
Are you really excited about something? No plans at all? Planning to just relax and hit the beach?
I’d love to hear all about what you’re planning on doing this summer!

At the end of May I will plant the crops. In June I’ll be live for a month alone in a cabin in the country, tending to the garden and reading and bike riding and walking and drinking tea and sleeping outside and bathing in a pond.
At the end of July I’m going to ride my bike from New Jersey to Boston, then back.
At the end of August I will go to Myrtle Beach with my family for two weeks.
The first halves of July and August I’ll probably spend most of my time upstate as well, checking on the garden.
@petethepothead: Your username prompts me to ask: What kind of “crops” are you planning on planting?
Corn, potatoes, sweet potatoes, peppers, tomatoes, pumpkins, cucumbers, onions, strawberries, peas, beans, tobacco, carrots. No watermelons this year. They never grow.
I plan on visiting my family in Hungary, and maby take some nice pictures while I’m there bc when I come back I want to study film & photography. I would also like to go visit my other side of the family in Pensylvania, but the ticket is kinda expensive for me right now! =) Maby next summer.
I might be getting an internship at a nearby research lab. I’m waiting to hear if I got the job.
Otherwise… I have no plans, except to attend orientation at whichever college I decide to go to, and I guess to just make the most of my time at home before leaving for college?
I went to summerschool every year in college. Give it a thought, it’s fun.
We don’t get summer breaks. I’ll be doing what I am now– work and school.
Not exactly sure what I will be doing this summer. I will definitely be going to Lake Tahoe in the beginning of the summer (with my boyfriend) as I usually do. Because I don’t see my boyfriend much, I want to spend as much time with him as possible. And for me, traveling with him is the best possible thing I can do. We both absolutely love traveling together, so we must do plenty of that. :)
I don’t usually plan summers much (as you can see), so most of it I’m just going to have to see what happens. There are things I want to do, but I don’t have any definite plans about them.
Im going to an internship at a nearby university! Apart from that, Ill be playing tennis, sleeping, starting to think about college apps, and possibly go out of state for a two week camping trip of some sort with my family!
This is my last quarter of college and I’ll be graduating in June. I’m nervous and excitd all at once, so this summer I’ll be looking for a job I suppose. I’d like to move to the pacific northwest or back east. My best friend since the eighth grade (who is also graduating in June) and I have talked about heading to Chicago. So, on my list, 1) find job 2) potentially move. We shall see.
I’m going to work til mid June, go to Telluride, CO for the biggest bluegrass festival ever for a week, then spend the next month road tripping, camping, and hiking with my boyfriend through Utah, Arizona, New Mexico, California, and eventually Wyoming and South Dakota and that area. I’ll celebrate my 21st birthday in July in the Bay area. I plan to go home to PA at some point for a week or two, then get back to work. It’s gonna be so fuckin awesome.
Looking for a job in a movie theatre and building a gaming PC
job hunting & crafting for the most part.
And trying to maintain and gain sales through my Etsy shop.
I’ve been nannying the most amazing girls (2 and 3 years old!) =] Also, I lifeguard at a local pool. This doesn’t leave time for much else, and I also had to cancel the trip to New York that my sister and I were going to take. =’(
I just finished a photography internship at a summer camp. I didn’t like the heat very much, and my job rarely let me have fun with the kids, but I got paid and I got some good job experience.
I’m at my college a little early right now doing odd jobs for the next two weeks before the quarter starts up. I read some good books so far, took a trip to San Francisco with my boyfriend, and now I’m just enjoying pre-fall activities on campus.
Swimming for the most part
