Best value all-in-one printer/copier/scanner with document feeder?

Asked by guitarhero1983 (135points) April 4th, 2010

looking for all-in-one with document feeder so I can scan larger documents. Color/photo printing nice but not necessary.

There are a ton of them. Stick to a brand name you know and read the owner reviews on Newegg.com and Amazon.

@dpworkin Yes, yes, I have done this, just curious if any Flutherites (i.e., people I actually trust) have any specific recommendations.

Don’t ask me! Every time I buy a printer, it turns out to be the worst one on the market and being discontinued so I can never get service or ink again!

Kodak is trying hard to change the pricing structure for ink. I think that is worth supporting. Their printers are as good as anyone else’s.

The pricing of ink is not that much important if you refill your own cartridges,I bought a refill kit at Home Depot for 10 bucks and I was able to fill 3½ cartridges !

HP all-in-one. I’ve had two now (upgraded to wireless). They work great. I’ve never had any problems.
