Do you know any good websites for learning about my family's heritage?

I dunno about any websites, but you can start by asking your parents & grandparents, if you haven’t already.

ancestry.com is a great site but you have to pay if you want good results.

It would help if you specified where they came from. If they immigrated through Ellis Island there are websites and ships’ manifests you can check.

National Geographic had this cool thing going for awhile where for $99.00 they send you a kit to get a general view of your maternal genetic migration.
