When we times three numbers together E,G, r=xyz can we bring any of the xyz over to the other side and just put it underneath? r/z.

Yes. If you divide both sides by z, then you get r/z = xy since z/z = 1. Similarly, r/x = yz.

Um I thought so but my equation doesn’t seem to be right.
D=½at^2
D: distance
A: gravity 9.8
T: time
I need to work out time so I did the square root of (½)xa-d only to get the wrong answer, the answer should be 0.63.
Isolate t first.
(2 D) / a = t^2
Then take the square root.
sqrt ( 2D/a) = t
Whatever you are solving for, always try to isolate it first one one side by itself.

Doh, ignore me I have no good reason why I couldn’t have worked that out, thanks.
