April 9, 2010. Is this a good day to honor Fluthers Moderators?
I believe in giving credit where credit is due for a job well done! so, today, April 9, 2010, i am declaring as Moderators Day on Fluther. many times my questions have been challenged by a moderator. many times i have disagreed with the moderators decision, but rules are rules. i would like to thank the moderators that give their free time to keep Fluther as a respectable site to ask and answer all types of questions. i consider the moderators to be the “outerspace police” by deleting obscene questions and answers and personal attacks on other Fluthers. its time these watchdogs received a pat on the back and an “atta boy” from all us fellow Fluthers. Do you have a favorite moderator? if so, please tell us your past experiences, good or bad and join me in celebrating April 9, 2010 as Moderators Day on Fluther!

I don’t really see how it’d honor them, but sure, what the hell. It’s not like there aren’t other “National day of [insert something here]” nobody really cares/knows about.
I DO have a favorite mod, because he’s always answered me when I write him. But I’m not going to name names, because they all do a great job. Kudos to all. :-)
Easy man, Lets have at least the same amount of people signed to Fluther like Twitter or Myspace to honor them. But saying tnx to them is oke right?

Unlike other question and answer sites they dont just remove your question, they give you a chance to edit it, and if that doesn’t work out, they are rather helpful.
For instance they gave me a link to an art website where i could display my artwork as an alternative suggestion to posting it on here (as it was like self promotion), whereas other sites would have just deleted the question.
i think that was when i knew i liked it here :)

I’ve questioned a few in the past when I had a question removed (usually after I’ve had several beers). They were always kind and helpful in return. I’m embarrassed I acted so silly.
I can’t pick a favorite. I appreciate all of them. I do miss TheCompassionate though. He always had a kind word for me when I needed it. :(
@thriftymaid Hmm, don’t know if that would go over so well. Fluther would turn into a haven of trolls before the week is over.

On a less happy note, I noticed that petethepothead deleted his profile, which is making me really sad.
@jeffgoldblumsprivatefacilities The delete is temporary so he can get some much needed college work done. This mod has been slacking in his academics!! He will be back before you know it.

erichw…......it just hit me like a ton of bricks this morning. the number nine is my favorite number, so i thought the association of the moderators and the number nine, just seemed to go together. the moderators on Fluther are really good people. if they ask you to change your question, they tell you why and are very helpful in steering you in the right direction. so, hats off today to the Moderators of Fluther!!!
