I follow a strict pattern that I have followed for fourteen years because I hate getting dressed and then realizing that there was a hidden deposit of water I failed to eradicate. The pattern ensures.. all my “bases” are covered.
I… dry my hair, and ignore the rest. Usually just wipe excess water off, and am done with it. Or prance about in a robe until i’m fully dry.
Same pattern, yes – legs first because wet carpets/wet floors annoy me. Then a robe.
riser….. what’s the pattern… My girl hates when I get out if the shower and still feel wet after I feel completly dry… LOL
My cousin has a good story about a woman friend of his who had a swing in her bedroom because that was her preferred method of finishing the job.
I just go crazy with the towel and hope that I get dry. Running around naked helps too, but men be careful because running down stairs naked is not a good idea without appropriate…. support….
Dry hair first (so it’s not dripping) then pat dry everything else…then use same towel to throw my hair into after I put on my robe. :) I guess it’s the same pattern every time! LOL Never really paid attention.
I usually have music playing during my bubble bath. We don’t have a shower. I usually dance until I am dry. And I don’t mind putting on clothes if I am a little wet.
I always have the towel right outside my tub so I can dry off in the tub. Starting with the hair and moving down to the calves. Then I throw the towel on the bathroom floor so I can step onto it and finish up. I hate getting stuff outside the shower wet.
My hair is so long and thick it takes a long time to dry (hell, it takes a long time to get wet to shampoo it!). First I throw the towel over my head, first pat then very gently rub some of the water out.. Then the towel goes over my shoulders, first with my hair under it, then I pull it out so its blanketed on top of the towel. Its going to continue to drip for several minutes during which time my body pretty much air dries. No problem with comfort or time: I keep my home temperature controlled at a very comfortable temperature, always have a cool beverage at hand with great music playing. Plus, I’m retired with no time commands or constraints. Also, if I didn’t opt to shower, I’m coming out of a whirlpool tub, so needless to say, I’m relaxed and invigorated. And when I share the tub with my girlfriend…...well, I’ll leave that to your imaginations! Hmmmm…my girlfriend is due home any minute now and a bath sounds pretty good to me right about now…I think I’ll fetch that bottle of B&B and a couple of candles and program the player to play her favorite albums. Its amazing how fast my lady can get undressed and let me tell you, there is nothing more efective than team drying, the specifics of which I will be glad to share, but not right now! Let’s see, bubble bath, bath oil or whirlpool jets??? C U L8R .
Tune in next week for another episode of… The Continental.

My choice of drying off is with a towel i go Hair and head, then left arm, right arm, back, chest, legs
That is how i’ve done it for years
I do a quick swipe of my body so I am not dripping. Then wrap my hair and do stuff nekki while I air dry.
