Are your questions on Fluther affected by what you are doing in real life?

Asked by julia999 (343points) April 10th, 2010

For example, most of my questions spring to mind depending on what I am studying at school. I’ve asked a couple on electricity lately because that is what I’ve been working on.

This may sound like a straightforward question but I’m sure there are other factors that inspire questions… such as other questions on Fluther!

On a few different occasions, yes. Like @thriftymaid stated above, a multitude of my answers are based on my life experiences.

I’d say about half my questions reflect things going on in real life. The other half are from things I’ve been reading about or thinking about. The other half are completely fabricated out of thin air! ;-)

Yes. What I just said there was affected by my current state of slackidaisicalness and straightforwardness. So.

Our lives are the fuel for these questions.

Well, yes, there’s a source somewhere. Even if I’m interested in people’s tastes and opinions most times, what I ask about is usually something that is of interest to me to begin with mostly horror movies haha no matter how indirect, or direct with my life it might be.

Sure. I only ask questions that refer to my life in some way.

@thriftymaid
That makes sense.
I’m at the point in life (18 2 days ago! )where I’m asking lots of questions, and not so much giving answers.
