What are your opinions on ear piercings?

I don’t have any ear piercings, and I don’t care for them.

Mostly indifferent, I don’t particularly like or dislike it.

How can I put this… it’s not typically going to make someone I don’t find attractive more so, but it can make someone I find attractive less so, though not to a great degree. I have seen some very, very, cool stylized ear piercings that definitely complimented the people with them and caught my attention, but only very rarely.

I don’t have any piercings, ear or otherwise, I was just never really interested.

I had my pierced when I ws 12.When I was 16,I thought I needed second piercing so I did it myself.Ow.
I let them close up after awhile and now just have the single piecing.I think it looks better that way.I don’t like to wear alot of jewelry at once.

I like them. Just not for young kids. Teens are able to start making choices, and ear piercings are on the low scale of rebellion.

My personal choice, as a female, is to wear clip-ons. I have some remnants of the “don’t let the chi out” philosophy left.

I have two piercings in each lobe, a tragus/rook and antihelix in my right ear, and a conch piercing in my left.

I’m not a huge fan of the barbell that goes across the top part of the ear though.

yeah no those look nasty X_x i can barely cope taking a shirt off with 2 cartilage piercings, imagine getting caught on something that goes through the whole top of the ear, its like giving it a handle to.. shudder

I am indifferent, except for when I see a cartilage piercing and think how painful it must have been.

i like them. a 3 month old baby does not want its ears pierced. aside from that i love the way they look. i used to have 5 in each ear. i let them clothes because i’m lazy and…actually i don’t remember the full reason. but i really like the way they look. now i just have one hole in each but they’re gauges and for some reason i think i look a lot better with earrings in and i feel the same about others too.

I don’t like ‘em. I’ve never thought they added to anyone’s attractiveness. I find flesh and simple clothing attractive. Shiny things don’t do it for me. But I’m speaking in idealisms; I’d never turn any woman away over this

@Kraigmo good point. i think large obnoxious hoops and huge dangly earrings are ugly too.

i love ear piercings, well any piercings actually.
i love them on women and men. i love gauges on guys, but probably nothing more.
and yes, i have my ears gauged and my second holes pierced. i also have my catiledge pierced. i also have both sides of my nose pierced and my monroe(:
