What can I buy for $10?
This is for the CNN iReport Weekly photo assignment. The idea is to spend $10 on anything and photograph it.
Two $5 Subway footlongs? A giant bag of groceries? Ten $1 movies? Furnishings for an entire room at the thrift store? Two really, really good cups of coffee? The sky’s the limit. How far can you make your $10 stretch?
I appreciate your unique ideas.

Making an Outdated Platitude on a Fluther Answer: Priceless
Since you mentioned coffee, buy one bag of coffee, perk the whole bag, and take a picture of how many cups of good coffee you can get if you make it at home.
Or $10 worth or oreos…
Give the money to someone who’s homeless or asking for funds. Let them know you’re doing a photo project and ask them if you can hang out with them for a little while as they spend it – no matter what they spend it on. If you have the right connection with the recipient and can manage to pull off the project without being exploitive, you may have an amazing photo essay. Or, give five to two different people and see if they spend it differently. I think it would be fascinating to see how the money is prioritized.
I feel like I should be investing that $10 if I dont need it right away.

How about making as much food as you can, but the only money you have is $10? Like grow as much as you can, and find the cheapest stuff you can for the rest. Make a nice meal, set it up elegantly, and take a picture of you and somebody else (preferably a date) eating it.
I ended up buying 2 $5 Foot-longs at Subway and giving it away at my hometown to a couple peope who needed it most. You can view my entry on CNN iReport. Thanks for all your ideas!
