Are you dining with the Donnor party?

Yep, that would be some pretty awful take away meat! lololol

Most of the döner meat (that is how it is spelt) is mass produced in factories, not in shady, dirty backyard sheds. I highly doubt you will find any of that stuff in the meat.

not even the kebab shop owners know whats in the meat. as my boyfriend says, its just the crap part of he animal that no one eats. i do enjoy doner, i just want to know exactly what it is .

Locally sourced cats, dogs, pigeons, cows lips, sheeps scrotums and goats gall bladders.

I assume its a cross between White Castle hamburgers and Spam, but made with lamb.

Doner kebab meat is made of lamb. at least thats what its suppose to be!

@nimarka1
Lamb, veal, pork, chicken, with veal being the most common.

Human, I would assume. Unless you’re Gene Autry; then it might be reindeer.

Unless every kabab place in the whole world obtains their meat from the same source, I would say it is hard to generalize. I am sure there are different qualities, some probably contains crap and some is high quality.

Here they “claim” chicken or lamb, you have your choice. I personally don’t like the way it looks, so I opt for no meat at all, just the veggies and cheese with hommous. Great fast food!

@rooeytoo
You are missing so much by skipping the meat.
