Do you ever write journal entries on Fluther?

Asked by RocketSquid (3486points) April 11th, 2010

Often times I’ll start writing a question on Fluther only to realize I’m not asking a question, I’m writing a journal post. Do you ever catch yourself doing the same thing, and what do you do? Do you rewrite it in the form of a question, post it as is to see how people react, or delete it entirely?

I have never found myself doing that. I don’t journal at all.

I’ve written a few things that when I read them back, I think Hey! That would be a good subject for a blog entry. Aaaand then I never get around to writing them. :(

Yes, absolutely.

Then @augustlan calls it a simple poll and removes it.

lol…yes I do…and I delete it before it can be removed… I pride myself on how few comments I have had removed… I wonder if you can get those stats somewhere??

I usually try to illustrate my questions with events from my own life. That’s where a lot of my questions come from. There’s always a question there. If you’re writing a journal entry, it is probably because it is something you are thinking about and wondering about. It should be possible to read the entry and get a clearer idea of what you are struggling with and turn that into a question.

I’m afraid I don’t.
