My younger brother magically made Mozilla's address bar "dissapear." How do I restore it!

Asked by eLenaLicious (822points) April 12th, 2010

Yesterday, my younger brother was playing around with Mozilla’s toolbar and clicked on this arrow (i have no idea which one) and somehow our damn address bar is gone.
The only things displayed on the top is the Yahoo! toolbar and the only way to go onto other sites is to look it up on Yahoo! search.
So any of you geniuses know how to restore our address bar?
Please and thank you!

@rahm_sahriv haha thank you for the suggestion and I will recommend it. But right now I really would like to know how to make Mozilla’s address bar visible again! :)

Umm F11 just magnified everything….

View—> Toolbars—> Navigation

At least it is like that on a Mac. Should be similar in Windows.

I can confirm what @johnpowell says, on windows.
Alternatively, you can go View -> Toolbars -> Customize -> “Restore Default Set” to bring all of the toolbar settigns back to normal, in case he messed with anything else.

edit: and for the record, pressing F11 will toggle the “full screen” mode. Which will stretch the website to fit your entire screen, without the toolbar on top or your taskbar on the bottom. In case you were wondering what it does.

@Bernard good thinking, but the thing is that I cannot see the VIEW option. Like I said, the only thing visible on the top is our Yahoo! Toolbar. Nothing else.

When you right-click over the toolbar, what happens? Do you see a menu that says:

Menu Toolbar
Navigation Toolbar
BookMarks Toolbar
___________
Customize

@eLenaLicious Ah, okay.
Then hold down your alt key, and press V. Even with the toolbar hidden, this should suddenly show it, and put you in the View menu. Then follow @johnpowell‘s or my instructions following that step.
If you want to keep things extremely simple, you can hit ALT + V + T + N to restore the navigation bar, and ALT + V + T + M to restore the menu bar itself.
