If you knew this was your last day alive, what one principle would you most like to share with someone you love?

Asked by eden2eve (3703points) April 17th, 2010

This might be some abstract and universal truth, or it might be some concrete and personal advice that you believe your loved one most needs in order to be happy or successful in their lives.

Always get a second opinion.

Don’t waste time, don’t be afraid to say how you feel, be with the one you love, and do something for someone else everyday.

Make note of something in each day, make something happen on purpose if you have to in order to be able to say whatever that was, it made the day worth being alive for.

Just kidding just kidding!, I’d probably say something like “Live everyday as if it’s your last, and treat everyone kindly” ;)

You are the only one who can get what you want; the power is in your hands. One of the most important things in life is self-satisfaction. The other is love.

have no regrets, no second guesses and don’t let anyone tell you that you “can’t”.

If there is no tomorrow there can be no regrets – now get your gear off, it doesn’t matter where we are or who is looking.

There is no one left on earth that I love. I’d finish my bottle of 50 year old Glenfiddich, put my revolver to my head and “go to Fiddlers Green”.

“When the hostiles come to take your scalp, just empty your canteen, then put your pistol to your head, and go to Fiddlers Green”

@stranger_in_a_strange_land put my revolver to my head and “go to Fiddlers Green”.

Why? I would want to watch the end. My curiosity wouldn’t let me do anything else.

stranger_in_a_strange_land's avatar

@DarkScribe My sense of curiosity died six months ago. I prefer to leave on my own terms. “Cheat the hangman” as it were.

Love yourself first and foremost. If you don’t love yourself, how can you expect others to love you.

Always follow your heart, if you don’t you might end up blaming someone else for your mistakes, and a: ” What would have happend if… ” spending your last moments with regret.
