“Who are you and what do you want from me?”
What was the name of the bad guy from Tron?
“What do you look for when you hire people? I… don’t think its working.”
What is my purpose here like am I just part of a biological cycle random stagged events of a Darwinian evolution that is absolutely amazing the way it works with all of these nearly impossible odds that happen and create life. Then this nothing single cell evolves over billions of years to finally arrive at humans. And I come from it down this long line of history and millions of generations all the possible ways that things could have happened but they didn’t they all happened the way they did which lead to my existence. What is my purpose?
“Let me speak to your mother….”
What more can I do for you? You’ve done so much for me.
Why do people think you’re real?
Forbidden fruit? Seriously what did you think would happen?
How can you allow even one child to starve or suffer abuse when you have the power to stop it at anytime, as any halfway moral person would feel compelled to do? Tired old cliché question, I know, but a question never answered adequately by traditional Christian rhetoric. “God’s ways are mysterious” doesn’t cut it.
assuming I don’t disintegrate while in the presence of divine righteousness….
“What makes me worth your time?”
why did you give us free will know we could not handle it
delirium… That was the funniest thing I have read in years. I just hope it meant what I think it means.
It means what you think it means, don’t worry. ;)
Jesus Saves, Gretzky scores.
“Why can’t we all just get along?”
Would you like fries with that?
How did you decide what shape should we have? 2 legs 2 arms and the standing up posture
Asking God a question is the exact same as having a coversation with yourself.
@spargett: I’m god? I hear what you’re saying. deep.
I would ask him to make me more comfortable with not being smart enough to understand. If we presume for the purpose of argument that there is a God, and that we are talking about a God who is powerful enough to give us the answer to anything we asked, AND detailed and considerate and loving enough to take time to permit us to ask a question, how do we presume the arrogance to ask God to explain God? Because God made us that way, I guess. Another of God’s puzzles. Why isn’t he frustrated by our impudence in thinking God should even hear our questions? What made us think God is answerable to Man? Who do we think we are, God? And if we do, then why do we feel we need any answers?
I watch otters play at the aquarium, and I think to myself, how much happier are they that they aren’t arrogant or narcissistic enough to desire such answers? They seem to be enjoying God, or at least Creation, just fine without such concerns.
Can i ask for more wishes or is this like the Genie thing? No, but seriously, I would ask, “Are we the only beings in the Universe?”
“Are you there God? It’s me, Margaret.”
Why is there so much pain, and why do some people seem to enjoy this – despite everyone supposedly being in your image. What kind of an image is this? I understand free will and all, but you aren’t setting a great example with the Holocaust, genocide and wars. Too many satanic and mean-spirited people are here – so my question is, when you came up with the idea of this place in 7 days (six, the seventh you rested): WHAT THE FUCK WERE YOU THINKING? A
Do you really have a plan, or are we just the ultimate experiment?
