Can't access my Google Mail---? I have Firefox---any ideas what's going on?

I was able to get into my Google account as usual…and midway through checking my email, I was bumped off and the following message appeared:

“Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.

* This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept
cookies.”

I have never had this message appear before——and I did not change settings at all (from what I’ve always used). Does anyone know what I can do to fix this problem? I use Firefox.
