Is flutherbot (GTalk/Jabber or AIM) down?

I am trying to link an IM account from here but neither of Fluther’s Jabber nor AIM accounts is asking me for authorization after I enter my account on that page, nor is it authorizing my attempt to add said accounts as buddies when it instructs me to.
(My preference would be for the Jabber one to work.)

And If this service is down, then how about a mention on the settings page, with an ETA for it being fixed perhaps?

Right now the Fluther bot is down for the count. Unfortunately the priority of fixing it is below fixing some of the issues addressed in the last town hall, so it may be a while before we can bring the bots back online (if I recall correctly there were some protocol changes on AIM).
