Why do I feel sick after eating?
7 times out of 10 whenever I eat or drink anything I start to become sick. I feel nauseated for about five to ten minutes. I overall eat healthy and eat right sized portions. Should I see doctor? P.s. Im not pregnant.

This same thing happened to me when I was in my late teens, it lasted about 5 or 6 weeks. Not sure if it is the same thing you have, but it eventually went away on its own. maybe it was some sort of virus? I don’t know. How long have you had the problem?
Maybe you ate too much and your…(where the food goes through), not a stomach. They are too small and when you eat too much they become wider.

I get that when I eat too fast.
Yeah I often get the same feeling and have had tummy ache also. I’ve also had a reduced appetite lately leading to a slight weight loss.
I’ve got a lot of stressors in my life at the moment and had a short break last week which seemed to eliminate my sickness feeling and tummy ache.
As soon as I started back at work this week the symptoms have returned. Could the cause of your sickness feeling be due to stressors in your life also?
Yes, see the doctor. It could be any of a number of things.
I agree with @definitive. It could be stress. Are you under a lot of stress?
I rarely over eat. Im more of a grazer. I thought it might be a dairy issue so I stopped eating all dairy. Its not. This has been a problem as far back as I can remember.
You should definately see a doctor.
My life is pretty stress free. I get stressed but not overwhelmed by it.
I don’t think it is stress.
I get that if I eat very sugary and starchy foods like rice with some stir fry, or pasta with cheese sauce.
@thriftymaid is right, this is worth checking out with a doctor before your electrolytes get all out of whack and you inadvertently create a bigger problem for yourself.
here are some possible reasons:
You are eating acidic foods
you are not chewing properly
you are eating too quickly
or more seriously, you could have a stomach ulcer, if it carries on you should see your doctor.
Have you considered Celiac’s Disease? I often felt sick after I ate and could not explain why. Once, I lost 20 pounds in a single week. I dealt with the sickness for a long time. I blamed beef and stopped eating it. Then it was chicken’s fault and that went too. Then I was convinced it was tomatoes. All along it was gluten (aka wheat). Wheat is in almost everything and to go gluten free is difficult. It’s a considerable lifestyle change, but I’ve been gluten free now for two years. A simple way to test to see if you have Celiac’s is to stop eating wheat for a week, then try eating it again. First, if you feel better during the week, that could mean something, but more importantly, second, if you get sick after eating wheat after a week goes by, you almost certainly have Celiac’s. Good luck!
